American fine artist and surrealist Rosanne Coty opens doors to her limitless realm, extending an invitation to witness a world rife with vision. Rosanne’s first oil series, Bottle, was inspired by light passing through overlapped colored glass and her desire to capture the vibrancy. Her extensive figurative series, Perception V Reality, utilizes reflection literally and metaphorically to contrast women’s external appearance and their internal emotions. COVID-19 inspired many powerful works, and a shift toward nature and the outdoors with a Branching Out series. Now embracing surrealism, she utilizes nature as artistic inspiration to encourage contemplation and connectedness to a landscape without limit.
Rosanne has shown throughout the mid-west, New York, Texas, Italy's Coca Prize, and in the Global Competition, Art in the Time of Corona™. She was awarded a First Place People's Choice Award in Mount Pleasant's Art Walk Central for Trip of Our Youth. Rosanne has participated in Grand Rapids' ArtPrize numerous times, where New York art critic Jerry Saltz called her "a true artist" and "blessed" her. She remains open to possibility throughout her creative journey.
