American Artist and Designer Rosanne Coty is originally from Detroit. She has a BFA from Aquinas College and an AFA from the Kendall School of Design. She launched her career as a designer of children's apparel working with her original designs and with Disney licensed apparel that was sold nationally in stores. Mrs. Coty volunteered with many church, school, and sport organizations. She has taught Continuing Study classes with Kendall College of Art and Design, and provided private and community education instruction to share her art enjoyment with all ages.

Rosanne's original fine art and designs vary from figurative work to abstract realism of nature, consistently drawing inspiration from life. Her color decisions and placement are deliberate to enhance the mood of the piece and resonate with her audience. In addition to creating and selling original paintings and prints, she lends her designs to wearable art, apparel, and home accessories.

Design Work As a Designer I have created for apparel, print, and marketing. Whether the design is for canvas, fabric, or paper print applications, the necessary planning and execution challenges and motivates me. In designing, creativity abounds, but the process of execution is usually the larger battle. Some of my original fine art paintings lend themselves to products for a painted aesthetic.
